    Hi Leslie, I grew up near Coromandel on the Hauraki Plains and spent many holiday breaks on the Coromandel Coast beaches. Coromandel itself is a really pretty town with, like you said, delicious tasting food. I would have like to read about some of the tourist places in the Coromandel. What is there to see and do? Whitianga for example has the lovely Lost Springs for adults and Hot Water beach is a lovely place to dig a hole and sit in as the water is hot. Where have you been in the Coromandel?

    Leslie I am very similar in that my family had a Bach at Cooks Beach which is on the coromandel. It had beautiful golden sandy beaches and was very safe for children to swim at....unfortunately not that many large waves for those interested in surfing!

    Wow thats cool. Coromandel is a really amazing place and what you can do there is
    amazing stuff as well. Well i've been to kennedy bay and thames its a really good place to have a holiday. :)

    Hi Leslie coromandel sounds like a good place to go for a holiday,iv'e been to a place a bit similar its Raglan.coromandel looks beautiful and sounds cool hope to hear from you soon
